The attorneys at Karish & Bjorgum PC are multi-faceted with a broad level of experience with intellectual property litigation.  We have spent many years helping clients protect their products & services through the United States courts.  Please read below to meet our attorneys.

A. Eric Bjorgum has over 15 years of experience working in commercial disputes and intellectual property law, including a two year term working closely with a federal judge as a law clerk. He has litigated extensively in both state and federal court, working in business litigation and in all areas of intellectual property. He has also counseled clients in obtaining copyrights, patents, trademarks and trade secrets in order to secure their rights, avoid litigation and develop streams of revenue.
Marc Karish is a patent attorney with over 12 years of experience working in intellectual property law and commercial litigation. Marc has litigated extensively in the federal and state courts in intellectual property and business disputes. In addition to his extensive litigation practice, Marc has spent over 12 years preparing and filing patent and trademark applications, counseling clients about their intellectual property, and advising clients on intellectual property transactions such as license agreements and purchases.
Dan Kimbell has been a patent and trademark prosecution attorney for over 20 years, and has prosecuted and secured over 1,000 patents and 1,000 trademarks in a wide variety of technical and business areas. Dan is particularly skilled in handling and advising companies on how to leverage IP to improve their profitability and grow their business. Dan can also speak and read Japanese. He has co-founded three startup companies.
John D. ("Jack") McConaghy represents clients a variety of areas including patent counseling and opinions, due diligence, licensing, interferences, prosecution, reissue and reexamination in the mechanical, automotive and medical device arts, including trademark and unfair competition and trade secret counseling and opinions, due diligence, licensing, prosecution and oppositions.
Billy A. Robbins represents clients in a variety of areas including patents, licensing, transactions, trademarks, copyrights and unfair competition and trade secrets.
Christian has practiced for almost fifteen years, specializing in commercial litigation in federal and state court.  He has a broad business litigation practice, including intellectual property, entertainment, technology/start-ups, partnership disputes, securities, contracts, alternative dispute resolution, appeals and writs, SLAAP, antitrust, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and business torts.
Armand Andonian has spent most of his career building and enforcing brands.  His family has owned and operated a world-famous luxury jewelry brand for 40 years, and Armand was instrumental in devising a brand enforcement strategy that became the envy of the competition. 
Courtney Ballard-Searcy has over 10 years of experience in civil litigation. Since starting in Los Angeles at the home office of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, Courtney has worked on a variety of civil cases of all sizes. She has worked on major trials involving finance, class actions and many matters involving intellectual property.
